We decided to build a scissor style frame that can collapse when it is not in use.
Build your own portable duck blind.
To make the next steps a little easier set up the blind panels just like you would in the field.
Drive your metal t posts into the ground at each corner.
Make your blind large enough for the entire hunting party including dogs.
We can even take it completely off.
Leave about four feet of the t post above the ground.
Step 3 tim romano place the 9x5 foot pieces of carpet.
These will form the front and back of the blind.
For more information please see steps for building a simple temporary duck blind.
Use a post driver to place two steel t posts in the ground roughly 6 feet apart.
We finally got brian s boat blinded up.
For a longer duck blind you may want to use three posts on the front and back.
Step 1 tim romano start by cutting two 9x5 foot pieces of carpet.
Use the last post to create a space for your door placing it about two feet behind the front corner of the blind.
Lean one panel against the posts at a slight angle.
Temporary blinds can be whatever you want them to be so don t short change yourself.
